The mission of Moorestown250 is to educate and inspire the public about the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution. Founded in 1682, Moorestown was already a thriving Quaker settlement by the time the colonies rose in rebellion. Through collaborative efforts, we seek to honor the legacy of the Revolution, highlight its impact on our communities, and engage residents and visitors alike in meaningful celebrations. By fostering public participation, promoting tourism, and elevating our collective historical significance, we strive to ensure that the stories of our past continue to shape our future.
